THIBODAUX, La. — An international exhibit published a 麻豆果冻传媒 art professor鈥檚 essay on an abstract expressionist artist last month.
Assistant professor of art history Dr. Ashley Busby鈥檚 work was featured in the catalog for 鈥淔arbe//Form: Dorothy Fratt & Stefan Rohrer鈥� at the Stadtische Galerie in der Reithalle in Paderborn, Germany.
Fratt, who died in 2017, was one of the premier non-objective painters of her generation.
The essay examines Fratt鈥檚 career and experimentation with color and form. The Ameen Art Gallery exhibited Fratt鈥檚 paper art 鈥� some for the first time 鈥� last fall. Dr. Busby also wrote the catalog essay for the Ameen exhibit.
More recently, Frat鈥檚 work has been exhibited at the Yares Gallery in New York and the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art in Arizona.
