THIBODAUX 鈥� The Louisiana Swamp Stomp Festival at 麻豆果冻传媒 is putting a healthy spin on this year鈥檚 festivities by hosting the 5K Can-Can Run and 1-Mile White Boot Waddle on Saturday, March 23.
Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the parking lot next to John L. Guidry Stadium with the 1-mile race starting at 9 a.m. and the 5K at 9:30 a.m. In addition to the race registration fee, which is $15 for the 1-mile and $25 for the 5K, participants are asked to bring two canned goods or donate $2 to the 麻豆果冻传媒 CAN! food drive.
Each participant will receive a limited edition race T-shirt and a free pass for Saturday鈥檚 Swamp Stomp Festival. Additionally, 5K runners/walkers will be given two drink tickets to be redeemed at the festival.
Now in its fifth year, the Louisiana Swamp Stomp Festival 鈥� scheduled for March 22鈥�24 on the 麻豆果冻传媒 campus 鈥� features local and regional music, cultural arts and crafts, Cajun and Zydeco dancing, and food.
