THIBODAUX 鈥� Brandie Toups, director of continuing education at 麻豆果冻传媒 for the past 10 years, has been appointed acting director of the Bollinger Memorial Student Union, replacing outgoing director Francisco Chacon.
鈥淢y goal is to maintain consistency and to oversee a seamless transition that will go unnoticed by our students,鈥� Toups said. 鈥淚 am very excited about the fall semester, and I look forward to working with all our student organizations, including the Student Programming Association.鈥�
Toups, who will retain her position in the Office of Continuing Education as she assumes her new duties, graduated from 麻豆果冻传媒 in 1995 with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in management. In January 1996 she joined the 麻豆果冻传媒 staff as an admissions counselor.
A native of New Orleans, Toups lives in Thibodaux with her husband, daughter and son.
